The competition focuses on the role and culinary skills of a professional chef. This includes the preparation and cookery of a range of food commodities and dishes which reflect both contemporary and traditional cuisine.

The format of the competition will follow national competition guidelines as defined in part with WorldSkills International and the National Chef Associations across the UK.


This competition is run at Skills Competition Wales and WorldSkills UK level.
